capacity building of staff in any given organisation strengthens the workforce and adds up to productivitiy. The UNESCO/ UNITWIN Chair believes in equipping its employees/ interns with employable skills, thats what motivated her to organise a training session, that will see the members of staff get equipped with skills on proposal writing. Its also seen as a mentorship programme.
This summit is one among many of The Chair’s youth Program. The program is working towards positively influencing young people to contribute to personal development, that of their communities and the Nation. The Programme seeks to enable the youth to develop positive attitudes towards participation and be actively involved in demanding transparency, good governance and leadership.
Overall Goal
The overall goal of the project is to empower communities in Kenya for prosperity by equipping them with broad based knowledge on their citizenry, human rights, good governance, sustainable livelihoods and development.
